El sábado por la tarde daba comienzo en el Casino Gran Madrid de Torrelodones el CEP Madrid.

Hasta 272 jugadores se registraron para disputar este evento, que acumularon una bolsa de premios de 163.200€. Tras dos días de intenso poker, sería finalmente el jugador chileno residente en Madrid, Juan José Martín Miranda el ganador.

Martín y los dos últimos jugadores de la mesa final decidieron hacer un pacto, para no seguir jugando, y los premios quedaron así: Juan José Martín Miranda 1ª posición 35.000€, Weider Gutierrez 2ª posición 26.000€ y Carlos De Andrés 3ª 16.000€.

A la cita en Madrid acudieron muchos de los grandes jugadores españoles, entre los que se incluyen, Juan Maceiras, Santi Torres, Álvaro Ballesteros ‘Varico’, David Gómez ‘Gorrioncillo’, Armando Romano ‘Sobraoboy’, Luis Fernando Santillán ‘Fersan’, Álvaro Marino ‘Drácula’, los miembros del Equipo Poker770, Javier Piazuelo ‘Pizu’ y Paco Torres ‘El Tren Euro’, los jugadores del Bwin Team Pro Tomeu Gomila ‘Amatos’ y Jordi Martínez ‘Alekhine’, Armando Romano ‘Sobraoboy’ y Cayetano García.
